Job summary

Namdhari Seeds Pvt Ltd is seeking a Civil Maintenance Engineer to manage day-to-day maintenance across the facility in Karnataka. You will coordinate civil repair, renovation, and infrastructure works, monitor contractors, prepare estimates and BOQs, and ensure timely, quality delivery with safety compliance.

You will inspect buildings, roads and drainage, document activities, and manage inventory, spares and procurement liaison to keep maintenance running smoothly in a busy industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in civil maintenance, facility maintenance or engineering projects.
• Experience in handling civil works, maintenance projects, vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day civil maintenance activities across the facility.
• Coordinate civil repair, renovation, construction and infrastructure-related works.
• Monitor contractors and ensure work is completed as per specifications, timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare work estimates, BOQs and coordinate project execution.
• Conduct regular inspection of buildings, roads, drainage, flooring, roofing and other civil infrastructure.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and project activities.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for maintenance of machinery/equipment.
• Manage engineering/maintenance-related inventory and materials.
• Monitor stock levels of spare parts, consumables and maintenance materials.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage and issue of materials.
• Maintain inventory records and conduct periodic stock verification.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of critical materials.
• Raise material requirements based on project needs.
• Coordinate with Procurement for sourcing of materials, spares and services.
• Obtain quotations and support comparison of vendors based on cost, quality and delivery timelines.
• Verify materials received against specifications and purchase requirements.
• Ensure maintenance and project activities are carried out in accordance with safety requirements.
