Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to oversee end-to-end civil design and engineering reviews for ongoing and upcoming FEED/EPC projects in Vadodara. You will ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant deliverables, coordinating with Detail Engineers and site teams.

The role involves reviewing 3D models and drawings, preparing foundation and structure calculations, and supporting field engineers to resolve on-site issues while maintaining quality and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in civil design and engineering review for FEED/EPC projects.
• Ability to prepare foundation, structural, or hydraulic calculation sheets per specs.
• Experience reviewing 3D models and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve civil and structural deliverables from Detail Engineer team.
• Coordinate with Detail Engineers to satisfy client and local authority requirements.
• Manage civil, structural and building scope for FEED/EPC projects.
• Support field engineering to resolve site issues.
• Scope BOQ and cost estimation.
• Check design drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide design drawing information to Designers.

Job description

Responsible for all Civil Design & Engineering Review and Approval related activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. Manage time, cost and scope without any deviation. Track monitor and control project related deliverables.

Review and approval of deliverables from Detail Engineer team carry out civil and structural engineering jobs in front end engineering design, detail engineering design

Coordinating with Detail Engineers Team to generate project specification, design philosophy, calculation template to comply with clients requirement and local authoritys requirements. ? Civil project team manhour control, schedule control.

To prepare foundation, structural or hydraulic calculation sheets, from simple to more complicated items, in accordance to project specifications, criteria and information. Ensuring correct and accurate calculations of loads and member sizes of structures.

To review three-dimensional (3D) models and design drawings for structures and foundations as well as shop fabrication drawings.

To supply design drawing information and instructions to Designers ensuring technical completeness and clearness of data for effective workflow.

Checks design outputs and reviews design drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness to design requirements and concepts.

Coordinates with other Engineers and Designers to facilitate production of civil design and drawing outputs

Independently manage Civil, Structural and building scope for FEED/EPC jobs

Support at field engineering work to resolve issues at site.

Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Department Manager.
