Job summary

Intellics Global Services seeks an experienced Citrix Administrator in Bengaluru to manage CVAD environments and related components. You will oversee delivery controllers, StoreFront, Studio, Director, and gateways, ensuring smooth user access and performance.

The role requires strong Windows Server/AD skills, policy and profile management with FSLogix, and hands-on expertise in upgrades, migrations, and incident resolution within ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• 8.5 to 12 years of experience in Citrix Administration.
• Hands-on with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / XenApp / XenDesktop.
• Strong knowledge of delivery controllers, StoreFront, Studio and Director.
• Experience with Citrix ADC/NetScaler and Gateway; Windows Server/AD; GP, DNS, DHCP.
• Proficient in profile management tools (FSLogix) and VMware basics.
• Experience with upgrades, migrations, patching and environment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support CVAD environments and related components.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix environments for performance.
• Manage policy, publishing, session management, and access controls.
• Coordinate incidents, changes, and problem management per SLAs.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• Administer and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
• Manage Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Studio, Director, and related components.
• Configure and manage Citrix Machine Catalogs, Delivery Groups, Applications, and Policies.
• Perform day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of Citrix environments.
• Manage Citrix Gateway/ADC (NetScaler), including authentication, load balancing, SSL certificates, and access policies.
• Troubleshoot application launches, user sessions, profile issues, printing, connectivity, and performance-related problems.
• Work with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot user profiles using technologies such as Citrix Profile Management and/or FSLogix.
• Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes across Citrix infrastructure.
• Monitor system capacity, availability, and performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change requests in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Participate in major incident resolution and provide root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and environment diagrams.
• Coordinate with other infrastructure teams, vendors, and application teams for issue resolution.
• Follow ITIL processes and organizational security and compliance standards.

Preferred candidate profile:

• 8.5 to 12 years of experience in Citrix Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / XenApp / XenDesktop.
• Experience with Citrix Studio and Director.
• Good knowledge of Citrix Delivery Controllers and StoreFront.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix ADC / NetScaler / Citrix Gateway.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Citrix policies, application publishing, session management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Citrix Profile Management and/or FSLogix.
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Experience with Citrix upgrades, migrations, patching, and environment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Citrix certifications such as CCA-V, CCP-V, or CCE-V.
• Experience with cloud-based Citrix environments, particularly Citrix DaaS/Azure.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and ITSM platforms.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale Citrix environments.
• ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes.
