Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru seeks an expert Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Azure Virtual Desktop administrator to maintain VDI environments, ensure high availability, and optimize user experience.

You will manage Delivery Controllers, PVS, MCS, FSLogix, and compute resources, work with global teams, and resolve incidents while driving performance improvements. 4–12 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• 4–12 years of experience administering Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop/VDI) and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Hands-on experience with Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Citrix Director, PVS, MCS, Machine Catalogs, and Delivery Groups.
• Strong experience administering Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, session hosts, workspaces, and user assignments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals including IaaS, PaaS, Azure Portal, Azure AD, Intune, and cloud-based desktop services.
• Experience with Windows Server, Windows 10/11 Multi-Session, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Group Policy (GPO).
• Hands-on expertise in FSLogix profile management, image management, patching, and desktop lifecycle administration.
• Understanding of DNS, VPN, Virtual Networks (VNet), Network Security Groups (NSG), and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Nerdio, ControlUp, and Citrix Analytics.

Responsibilities
