Job summary

Alike Thoughts is seeking an experienced Citrix L3 Engineer to manage and optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments. You will lead initiatives to enhance performance, security, and reliability across enterprise virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities include advanced L3 support, end-to-end project studies, MCS design and maintenance, patching, and collaboration with IT stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in virtualization services.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Citrix L3 Engineer to manage support and continuously optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments This role demands deep technical expertise strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to lead initiatives that enhance performance security scalability and reliability of enterprise virtualization platforms

Key Responsibilities

Provide advanced L3 technical support for Citrix environments ensuring high availability optimal performance and robust security of virtual applications and desktops

Perform end-to-end technical studies across the project lifecycle including

• oOpportunity and feasibility analysis
• oRequirements definition and scoping
• oCost and workload estimation
• oImplementation planning and deployment support

Lead and manage minor and major projects including initiatives involving

• oNew interface deployments
• oSecurity enhancements
• oWorkstation consistency and standardization
• oVirtualization infrastructure upgrades

Demonstrate strong Citrix problemsolving and performance optimization skills

Design manage and maintain Citrix Machine Creation Services MCS

Handle Machine Catalog updates using MCS

Troubleshoot and resolve FSLogix profilerelated issues

Perform vulnerability management activities related to Citrix and Windows platforms

Manage Citrix server and VDI patching including

• oWindows security patching
• oPlatform updates and corrective maintenance

Oversee daytoday operations of Citrix infrastructure and associated services including upgrades and maintenance activities

Lead Proof of Concept POC initiatives for new and emerging technologies eg Windows Server 2022 application virtualization solutions

Provide expertlevel support and guidance to operations teams headquarters subsidiaries and other IT stakeholders

Ensure solutions are sustainable scalable and aligned with industry best practices and market standards

Conduct opportunity and feasibility studies to support strategic IT decisionmaking

Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement in virtualization services
