Infosys is seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to manage production SQL Server environments. The role focuses on high availability, disaster recovery, backups, and security through proper user access.

You will implement maintenance plans, handle replication, and perform upgrades while ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The candidate should demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Always On and disaster strategies, and the ability to prevent incidents by

• Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers.
• Hands on experience in SQL Server High Availability and DR strategies.
• Proficiency in SQL Server backup and recovery.
• Experience in user management, roles and permissions.
• Experience with Windows service packs upgrades and SQL Server upgrades/migration.
• Knowledge of DB maintenance plans and SQL Server agent jobs.
• Hands on experience with SQL Server replication configuration and management.
• Experience with troubleshooting and Always On performance tuning.

Responsabilidades

• Handle RCA for P1/P2 incidents and provide preventive solutions.
• Analyse recurring incidents and develop corrective actions.
• Manage production database environments with configuration and maintenance tasks.
