Job summary

Cluix seeks a seasoned Chief Operating Officer to steer day-to-day operations, manufacturing scale-up, supply chain, quality management, and field deployments. The role bridges strategic vision with execution, ensuring hardware devices, reagents, and cloud-connected IoT solutions are manufactured, tested, and delivered reliably at scale.

You will lead hardware manufacturing, vendor mgmt, and field deployment, driving KPI tracking, cost controls, and global supply chains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of operational leadership in hardware/electronics manufacturing
• Experience in ISO certifications and SOPs
• Knowledge of cost control, KPIs, and yield optimization

Job description

Description: CLUIX is seeking a seasoned and execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to steer day-to-day company operations, manufacturing scale-up, supply chain, quality management, and field deployments. The COO will bridge strategic vision and operational execution, ensuring our hardware devices, reagents, and cloud-connected IoT solutions are manufactured, tested, and delivered reliably at scale.

About the Role

• Provide operational leadership across hardware manufacturing, vendor management, supply chain, field deployment, and customer success.
• Scale electronics assembly, mechanical fabrication, sensor production, and reagent manufacturing while maintaining stringent quality control standards.
• Establish, track, and optimize operational KPIs, unit costs, turnaround times, and yield efficiency across all product lines.
• Build resilient domestic and global supply chains for specialized electronics, optical components, and precision chemical reagents.
• Spearhead ISO certifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution between R&D, Product Engineering, Sales, and Field Support teams to streamline product delivery.
• Lead customer onboarding, field deployment logistics, after-sales service, warranty support, and SLA adherence across pan-India projects.
• Manage organizational capacity planning, operational budgets, resource allocation, and continuous process optimization.

Skill(s) required

• Demonstrated expertise in operational excellence, lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and Six Sigma / Kaizen methodologies.
• Strong familiarity with hardware product lifecycle management (NPI to high-volume manufacturing).
• Exceptional team leadership, inter-departmental coordination, and conflict resolution skills.
• Data-driven decision making with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, operational analytics, and workflow automation.
• Experience handling complex logistics, government contract execution, and geographically dispersed operations.
• B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering or Operations, with an MBA / Master's degree in Operations Management preferred.
• 10+ years of operational leadership experience, including 3+ years in a senior executive capacity (COO, VP Operations, or Director of Operations) in hardware, electronics, deep-tech, or industrial manufacturing.
