Confidential in Jaipur seeks a Chief Manager/Sr. Manager-Operational Risk to lead policy development, framework review, and risk mitigation within NBFC/BFSI. The role emphasizes developing controls for new products and driving improvements in the risk environment.

The candidate will conduct root cause analyses, perform RCSA, monitor KRIs, and ensure timely closure of ATRs, with a focus on cost efficiency and process enhancements in a regulated setup.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Initiate and develop OR policies, processes and framework according to standards for risk management.
• Review OR Framework and related policies for the business unit.
• Implement plans to prevent, eliminate/minimize and mitigate operational risks.
• Conduct root cause analysis of OR incidents and ensure effective corrective action.
• Support business in designing controls for new products/processes.
• Drive continuous improvement in the control environment using OR tools.
• Conduct RCSA and discuss with functional heads for preventive/corrective action.
• Perform control testing and maintain risk registers.
• Identify cost reduction areas and opportunities for process improvement.
• Measure and report operational losses to management.
• Develop KRIs and monitor thresholds with stakeholders for corrective actions.
• Conduct ORMC, document minutes and close ATRs timely.
• Design, develop and review revised SOPs and controls for updated processes.
• Publish KRI and OR Event dashboards to Functional Heads periodically.

Roles and responsibilities

• Review of OR Framework and related policies related to business unit
• Implement plan to prevent, eliminate/minimize and mitigate operational risks.
• Conduct root cause analysis of OR incidents and ensure effective corrective action
• Support the business to design controls to enable risk management for newproducts/processes
• Drive continuous improvement in the business control environment by using OR tools
• Conduct RCSA and discuss with functional heads for preventive/ corrective action.
• Doing control testing and maintenance of risk registers.
• Identifying and working on areas of cost reduction and process improvement .
• Identification and measurement of operational losses and reporting to management.
• Develop KRI and ensure review/monitoring of KRIs and preventive/ corrective action is taken by concerned stakeholders for bringing parameters within defined thresholds
• Conducting ORMC, documenting minutes and timely closure of ATRs.
• Design , development and Review of revised SOPs and oversee effective design of controls for all revised/changed processes
• Publishing KRI Dashboard and OR Event Dashboard to Functional Heads on a periodical basis.
