Job summary

Piramal Pharma Limited is seeking a Chief Manager - Production to oversee plant operations, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive performance.

You will coordinate with Sales, Procurement and SCM, prepare monthly production plans, manage budgets, and mentor staff while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership to resolve technical issues and streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in production management following cGMP and SOP.
• Ability to prepare monthly production schedules and budgets.
• Strong coordination with Sales, Procurement, SCM for timely delivery.
• Ensure safety and follow PPE/work permit systems.

• Review and approve plant/process documents.
• Update senior management on monthly production performance.

Chief Manager - Production

• the plant as per the standard operating procedure.
• Reporting the status of the plant to the Site Head through daily production report.
• Lead the regular/periodic activities of GMP procedures established in the plant.
• Follow safety procedures like work permit systems, PPE usage during the operations
• Co-ordinate with sales/ marketing / procurement team / PPIC team for timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare and plan monthly production schedule.
• Identify various cost saving measure.
• Get approved from concerned authority and implement the same.
• Resolve technical problems as and when arises.
• Co-ordinate with service dept. for task completion.
• Conduct daily meeting with block in-charges for day to day activities.
• Discuss monthly production schedule with block in-charges.
• Co-ordinate with sales/ marketing / procurement team / SCM team for timely delivery of goods.
• Identify various costs saving measure.
• Get approved from concerned authority and implement the same.
• Resolve technical problems as and when arises.
• Ensure compliance wrt safety and cGMP.
• Train / update the subordinate on various subject like cGMP / Plant Performance / Technical / Managerial skill etc
• Co-ordinate with service dept. for task completion and settle any discrepancy between production and service dept.
• Settle any discrepancy between production and service dept.
• Review / approve various documents related to plant / process / financial bills.
• Update senior management about plant production performance through monthly review meeting.
• Prepare annual budget for plant and ensure it's within range by monitoring same periodically.
• Set KRA for self in line with business goal.
• Align subordinate KRA with aligned KRA.
