Confidential Jewellery Retailer is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer to lead and strengthen its HR function as the business enters a major growth phase. The role requires 15+ years of HR leadership experience, including 5+ years as CHRO in a large organisation, with Mumbai-based field presence.

The CHRO will build Talent, Learning and HR functions, drive design and compliance, and support rapid expansion across multiple states with a luxury consumer focus.

Qualifications

• MBA is mandatory.
• 15+ years HR leadership experience.
• 5+ years as CHRO / Head HR in a 1,000+ employee organisation.
• Luxury/consumer-facing experience preferred.

Qualification - MBA Mandatory.

A leading jewellery retailer is hiring a CHRO to build and strengthen its HR function as the business enters a major growth phase. 2000 Plus + employees across four states.

Key priorities:

• Build a strong Talent Acquisition function to support rapid store expansion.
• Develop a strong Store Manager and leadership pipeline.
• Build the Learning & Development function with a clear focus on sales capability and business results.
• Establish performance management, career progression and employer practices.
• Drive organisation design and HR professionalisation as the business scales.
• Strengthen multi-state HR operations, payroll and statutory compliance.
• Build HR systems and teams capable of supporting rapid expansion.
• 15+ years in HR leadership, including 5+ years as CHRO / Head HR in a 1,000+ employee organisation.
• Strong preference for luxury retail or consumer-facing businesses.
• Proven experience building Talent, Learning and HR functions.
• Comfortable working across Mumbai with strong field presence.
• Strong commercial orientation, organisation design capability and the ability to manage a family-business-to-professional-management transition.
