Job Overview

Lahoti Overseas Limited is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in the export-import (EXIM) industry or a closely related international trade business.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing finance and accounting operations in an export-import business, along with expertise in taxation, foreign exchange management, banking, working capital, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Relevant export-import industry experience is a key requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and present financial and tax strategies to the CEO.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage foreign exchange exposure, currency hedging, and forex risk monitoring.
• Oversee export-import accounting, international trade transactions, and related financial operations.
• Handle income tax, GST, and other taxation matters.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, and cash management.
• Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, bank limit renewals, and related correspondence.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and listed-company requirements.
• Supervise statutory audits, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Ensure legal, regulatory, and statutory compliance across all financial functions.
• Monitor the company's investment activities and manage financial risks.
• Support the resolution of financial disputes and other finance-related legal matters.

Eligibility Criteria

• CA candidates: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a CFO or in an equivalent senior finance leadership role.
• Non-CA candidates: Minimum 3 years of experience as a CFO.
• Industry experience: Prior experience in the export-import (EXIM) industry or a closely related international trade business is essential.
• Strong understanding of export-import procedures, trade documentation, and export-related accounting.
• Hands-on expertise in foreign exchange management, currency hedging, and international trade transactions.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, GST, financial reporting, audits, and working capital management.
• Experience managing banking relationships, credit facilities, and renewals of bank limits.
• Knowledge of listed-company compliance and applicable Accounting Standards.
• Candidates based in Mumbai will be preferred.

Compensation & Work Schedule

• CTC: ₹16–20 LPA, based on experience and suitability.
• Work Location: Tardeo, Mumbai.
• Working Days: Six‑day work week, with alternate Saturdays working.
