Job summary

Kundan Cars in Pune is seeking a strategic Head of Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts department, shape the company’s financial strategy, and drive budgeting and forecasting processes. You will oversee accounting, taxation, controls, and reporting, while guiding lender relationships and cash-flow planning.

Qualifications

• CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• 10-15+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, budgeting, audit, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Experience in the automobile dealership industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's overall financial strategy and annual budgets.
• Manage Finance & Accounts operations, including accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash-flow forecasts, MIS, and financial projections.
• Monitor dealership profitability, expenses, working capital, and cash flow.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, banks, financial institutions, and consultants.
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and risk-management systems.
• Monitor receivables, payables, inventory, and working-capital requirements.
• Review financial performance against budgets and provide corrective-action recommendations to management.
• Manage banking relationships, financing arrangements, loans, and fund requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improve overall financial efficiency.
• Ensure proper control over dealership assets, inventory, and financial transactions.
• Support management in business expansion, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
• Lead and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
• Provide accurate financial insights and recommendations to the CEO/MD for decision-making.
