• Lead M&A: due diligence, valuations, deal structuring, integration.
• Strengthen internal checks, controls, variance analysis, and MIS.
• Lead MMR, budgeting, forecasting and cost reduction initiatives.
• Establish and strengthen internal audit and governance systems.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team.

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for driving financial strategy. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of senior finance leadership, ideally in manufacturing, defence, engineering, or steel industries. The role demands proven expertise in banking, taxation, M&A, MIS, MMR and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve the Groups key financial ratios (ROCE, ROE, EBITDA margin, working capital cycle, etc.).
• Manage banking relationships, fundraising, working capital and treasury.
• Oversee taxation, compliance, and regulatory governance.
Lead M&A; due diligence, valuations, deal structuring, integration.
• Strengthen internal checks, controls, variance analysis, and MIS.
• Lead MMR, budgeting, forecasting, and cost reduction initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification: Chartered Accountant (mandatory).
• Experience: 15+ years in senior finance roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership/CFO capacity.
• Industry Exposure: Manufacturing, Defence, Engineering, and Steels.
• Expertise in: Banking & Treasury, Taxation, M&A, & Investments, MIS, MMR, Budgeting, Costing & Cost Reduction, Internal Audit & Governance, Financial Ratio Management.
