Job summary

Michael Page is representing a large listed conglomerate in the industrial and manufacturing sector for a CFO role. A Chartered Accountant will develop and execute the financial strategy, oversee accounts and audits across India and overseas, and drive EBITDA improvement and cost efficiency.

You will manage corporate finance, treasury, taxation, SEBI compliance, and M&A, while steering disclosures with the Board, auditors, and investors. Multi-entity consolidation and budgeting are key duties.

Qualifications

• CA certification with listed-company exposure preferred.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with its long-term goals.
• Oversight / Maintenance of Company Accounts and Audit and coordination with Statutory and Internal Audit teams in multiple overseas locations and India including those of Associates and Subsidiaries.
• Focusing on EBITDA improvement, cost efficiencies, and process controls.
• Overseeing structured fund-raising and asset magnetisation strategies.
• Managing corporate finance, treasury, taxation, legal, and commercial functions.
• Ensuring compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations.
• Overseeing the M&A portfolio for the corporation.
• Steer the financial communications and disclosures with the Board, Audit Committee, Exchanges, Auditors, regulatory bodies, and the investor community during key corporate events
• Lead the timely closing and consolidation of multi-entity financial accounts under Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
• Strategize and execute tax-efficient dividend distribution and cash repatriation from foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure optimal resource allocation for all entities.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• CA is a must.
