Job summary

CIEL HR is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer for a leading Heavy Engineering company based in Pune. The role reports to the MD & CEO and leads the finance function, shaping strategy, governance and financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have 25+ years in finance with at least 5 years in CFO leadership, manufacturing or construction experience, and a CA or MBA Finance. ERP and M&A experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 25+ years in Finance with 5+ years in CFO/senior leadership.
• Experience in Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering / Construction.
• CA or MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, planning, reporting, analysis.
• Experience with banking, debt restructuring, fundraising.

• Drive financial strategy, EBITDA improvement and working capital optimization.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, banking relationships and funding.
• Oversee cost control, CAPEX evaluation and risk management.

• Support CEO/Board on business strategy and growth opportunities.

We are hiring a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for leading Heavy Engineering , Pune.

Reporting to: Managing Director & CEO

Key Requirements

• 25+ years of overall experience in Finance, with 5+ years in a CFO / senior finance leadership role.
• Experience in Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering / Construction industry preferred.
• CA / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, Financial Strategy & Planning, Financial Reporting & Analysis, Cost Management & Efficiency, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Strong experience in cost accounting, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Partnerships working capital, Stakeholder Communication & Investor Relations, cash flow and treasury management.
• Hands-on experience in banking, debt restructuring, refinancing, consortium management and capital raising.
• Strong understanding of financial risk management, taxation, audit and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics.
• Exposure to digital finance transformation, BI dashboards, analytics and ERP optimisation will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and Board-level communication skills.
