The role requires extensive experience in hotel maintenance, safety compliance, and staff development to ensure reliable operations across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. The candidate will oversee preventive maintenance, manage budgets, coordinate with vendors for AMCs, and drive energy efficiency initiatives while safeguarding guest satisfaction and staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years professional experience in the Hotel Industry with 5 years managerial experience in hotel engineering department.
• B. Tech EEE or Diploma in EEE required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with hotel engineering standards, policies, safety regulations, and maintenance procedures.
• Lead the Engineering Department, overseeing preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and staff training.
• Maintain hotel infrastructure and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, water treatment, and fire safety.
• Supervise maintenance work orders, projects, and equipment installations to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain equipment records, service reports, inventories, and adequate stocks of tools and materials.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of plant rooms, equipment, property, and work areas.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, emergency systems, and other safety equipment.

• Maintain hotel infrastructure and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, DG sets, water treatment, and fire safety.
• Supervise maintenance work orders, projects, and equipment installations to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain equipment records, service reports, inventories, and adequate stocks of tools and materials.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of plant rooms, equipment, property, and work areas.
• Inspect and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, emergency systems, and other safety equipment.
• Implement emergency response plans and energy conservation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), equipment servicing, and repairs.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, operational reports, and inspection reports for management review.
• Attend management and HOD meetings and communicate maintenance priorities and updates.
• Train and guide engineering staff in maintenance procedures, equipment handling, inventory management, and workplace safety.
• Ensure staff compliance with uniform, grooming, hygiene, and professional standards.
• Oversee departmental operations, cost control, service quality, and short- and long-term maintenance planning.
• Ensure uninterrupted engineering services, guest satisfaction, employee safety, and compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
