is seeking an experienced Chief Architect to lead design excellence, project delivery, and multidisciplinary coordination for large-scale architectural and interior projects across India. You will own end-to-end delivery from concept through completion, mentor high-performing teams, drive innovative design solutions, and build lasting client relationships while ensuring commercial success.

Qualifications

• 10–16 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Strong experience in Developer, Data Center and Hospitality sectors.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution, including statutory approvals and coordination.
• Strong understanding of design development, construction documentation, execution methodologies, and applicable national building codes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultants and leading high-performing design teams.
• Commercial acumen with a strong focus on project profitability, resource planning, and timely delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, coordination, and delivery of projects across all design stages.
• Manage large-scale projects in Developer, Data Center and Hospitality sectors.
• Own quality of design outputs and ensure timely delivery of drawings.
• Develop innovative, context-driven design solutions meeting client objectives.
• Oversee preparation of design portfolios, presentations, and documents at every stage.
• Present approved concept designs to stakeholders and consultants for alignment.
• Coordinate with consultants, design teams, and external agencies for fully coordinated designs.
• Take ownership of statutory submission drawings and coordinate for approvals in Mumbai region.
• Ensure delivery on time and within budget per manpower plans.
• Drive project profitability through planning, resourcing, and risk management.
• Conduct site analysis and align design intent with on-site execution.
• Ensure design fidelity during construction by resolving site queries.
• Identify project risks and escalate issues before impact.
• Ensure accurate design coordination to minimize client escalations.
• Build and nurture client relationships delivering timely design solutions.
• Mentor and develop project teams through coaching and feedback.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned.
• Support project publications and knowledge-sharing for design excellence.

About the Role

As a Chief Architect, you will take end-to-end ownership of large-scale projects, ensuring exceptional design quality, seamless coordination, and successful execution from concept through completion. You will drive innovative design solutions, mentor high-performing teams, and build lasting client relationships while ensuring commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of projects across all design stages.
• Manage large-scale projects across the Developer, Data Center and Hospitality sectors.
• Take complete ownership of the quality of design outputs and ensure the delivery of high-quality design and drawing portfolios within planned timelines.
• Develop innovative, context-driven design solutions that meet client aspirations and project objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of comprehensive design portfolios, presentations, and project documentation at every design stage.
• Present approved concept designs to internal stakeholders and multidisciplinary consultants to ensure alignment before project progression.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants, design support teams, and external agencies to deliver fully coordinated design solutions.
• Take ownership of statutory submission drawings and coordinate with permitting consultants for projects in Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, ensuring timely approvals.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with approved manpower plans and resource allocations.
• Drive project profitability through effective planning, resourcing, and proactive risk management.
• Conduct site analysis and maintain strong alignment between design intent and on-site execution.
• Ensure design fidelity during construction by resolving site queries, reviewing site issue reports (SIR), and providing timely design support.
• Proactively identify project risks and elevate potential issues before they impact project delivery or client satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate design coordination and documentation to minimize client escalations and maintain high standards of quality.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, delivering timely and comprehensive design solutions that foster long-term partnerships and repeat business.
• Mentor, guide, and develop project teams through coaching, regular performance feedback, fair assessments, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project delivery.
• Support project publications, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and design excellence across the practice.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• 10-16 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Strong experience in Developer, Data Center and Hospitality sectors.
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept through execution, including statutory approvals and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong understanding of design development, construction documentation, execution methodologies, and applicable national building codes.
