Role
Lead architectural design and delivery for US-based projects from an India-based office, ensuring compliance with US building codes and client requirements. Serve as the primary architectural technical lead across project phases, produce and review construction documentation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and support QA/QC and schedule/resource management.

The firm provides responsible access to Large Language Models and vibe-coding platforms and expects candidates to leverage AI and integrated tools to improve productivity and processes. BIM workflows and clash coordination are part of the delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and documentation through concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Prepare, review, and oversee drawings, details, models, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and project management teams; resolve technical and coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with US building codes, zoning, standards, and permit documentation requirements.
- Guide and mentor junior architects and design team members to maintain quality and consistency.
- Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and schedule management to meet delivery timelines.
- Support QA/QC processes for architectural deliverables and contribute to process improvement and design innovation.
- Collaborate with US-based teams and clients through regular meetings and coordination calls; be flexible to work evening hours for US coordination.
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in architectural design and project delivery.
- Proven experience on US projects in an AEC/architectural services environment and familiarity with US codes and permit documentation.
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, detailing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BIM workflows.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities; flexibility to work evening hours to coordinate with US teams.
Preferred
- Sector experience: commercial, healthcare, industrial, mission critical, pharma, or mixed-use.
- Exposure to BIM standards, clash coordination, and integrated project delivery workflows.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and LEED concepts.
- Prior experience leading teams supporting international or US-based clients.
- Licensure/registration in Architecture is an advantage.
