Job summary

Carbon Secure India (CSI) is developing India’s largest biochar carbon removal project in Ludhiana. We are building a biomass pyrolysis facility in Majara and seek hands-on engineers to support process development, PFD/P&ID updates, and mass and energy balances.

You will participate in plant trials, commissioning, and troubleshooting, integrating pyrolysis, bioenergy, and CO2 removal to decarbonize industries. 5-8 years experience preferred; location Ludhiana, Punjab, India.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Experience with pyrolysis or bioenergy is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals in process design and chemical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support process development, PFD/P&ID updates, and mass/energy balances for the biomass pyrolysis facility.
• Coordinate plant trials, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operations.
