Job summary

Majestic Basmati Rice Pvt. Ltd. in Lucknow seeks a Chartered Accountant to manage and review accounting, financial activities, and statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, and income tax.

You will assist in closing, prepare MIS reports, perform reconciliations, coordinate audits, and support budgeting and financial planning while ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• CA qualified from ICAI.
• Freshers or up to 2 years of relevant experience can apply.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance.
• Experience with MIS reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review accounting and financial activities.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance.
• Support in monthly/annual closing and financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
• Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow and working capital.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in finance and accounting processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments, banks, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
