Job summary

Majestic Basmati Rice Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Chartered Accountant to join the finance team in India. The role covers accounting, financial reporting, GST and tax compliance, audits, and accurate MIS.

You will perform reconciliations, assist in closing cycles, analyze variances, and coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders. Freshers with up to 2 years may apply. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Tally/ERP are preferred.

Qualifications

• CA qualified from ICAI.
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience can apply.
• Strong knowledge of accounting & financial reporting.
• GST, TDS & Income Tax knowledge.
• Audit & Compliance.
• Financial analysis and MIS.
• MS Excel proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Tally/ERP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review accounting and financial activities.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance.
• Support in monthly/annual closing and financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
• Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow and working capital.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in finance and accounting processes.
• Coordinate with internal departments, banks, consultants and external stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
