Job summary

Lohia Constructions in Nagpur is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting for construction projects. You will handle ledger maintenance, monthly/annual financials, site-wise profitability, and statutory compliances including GST and e-invoicing.

You will also coordinate with auditors, manage banking relations, and ensure timely reporting with strong financial controls across sites and projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Practical experience in accounting, taxation and finalisation.
• Knowledge of Tally Prime and advanced Excel.
• Experience in construction or government contracting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime.
• Handle all accounting entries, ledger maintenance and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare monthly and annual Profit & Loss accounts and balance sheets.
• Perform site-wise accounting and project-wise profitability analysis.
• Monitor material purchases, labour expenses, machinery hiring and site overheads.
• Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors, advances and statutory balances.
• Manage GST, TDS, e-invoicing and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Maintain work order, RA bill, EMD, security deposit and bank guarantee records.
• Prepare monthly MIS, outstanding liability statements and cash-flow reports.
• Coordinate with auditors and finalise books of accounts.
• Ensure accurate accounting, timely reporting and proper financial controls
