Shubh Engi-tech in Panvel, Maharashtra is seeking an Accountant to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, GST and payroll for a growing construction firm. The role works directly with the founder and coordinating with the Chartered Accountant.

Candidate should be proficient in Tally Prime and MS Excel, with knowledge of GST, TDS and payroll processes. Fluency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is preferred; honesty and independence are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on bookkeeping experience in a construction/contracting firm is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS compliance and filing.
• Ability to coordinate with a Chartered Accountant and audit processes.

Responsabilités

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally: purchases, sales, bank and cash entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile input tax credit.
• Track TDS deducted on government bills and on vendor payments.
• Process monthly salaries and labour payments; maintain attendance records.
• Track bill payments, security deposits, and earnest money (EMD).
• Conduct bank reconciliations and manage vendor/subcontractor ledgers.
• Coordinate with the CA for audit, income tax and ITR filing.

We are looking for an Accountant to manage the complete accounts of our construction firm. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, GST and payroll, and coordinate with our Chartered Accountant. This is a key role in a growing firm, working directly with the founder.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in Tally: purchases, sales, bank and cash entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR)1, GSTR(3B) and reconcile input tax credit
• Track TDS deducted on government bills and handle TDS on vendor payments
• Process monthly salaries and labour payments; maintain attendance-linked records
• Track bill payments, security deposits and earnest money (EMD) with departments
• Bank reconciliation, and vendor and subcontractor ledgers
• Coordinate with the CA for audit, income tax and ITR filing
