Job summary

DreamFirm is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant from a corporate background to lead accounting, MIS, audit and client management initiatives. You will manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients, prepare MIS reports, review financial statements, and ensure reporting accuracy.

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, opportunities to implement financial controls and automation, and exposure to a high-growth startup.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 4-8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Corporate background is mandatory.
• Zoho Books knowledge preferred.
• Strong expertise in Accounts, MIS, Audit and Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients.
• Prepare and review MIS reports and dashboards.
• Lead statutory, internal and tax audit engagements.
• Review financial statements and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Ensure GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Implement financial controls and SOPs.
• Review month-end/year-end closing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage client relationships independently.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.
• Drive process improvements and automation.
• Work on Zoho Books and ERP systems.
• Provide financial analysis and business insights.
• Support founders with strategic financial reporting.
