Job summary

Arrakis Ventures in Mumbai seeks an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead end-to-end financial operations, including statutory compliance, taxation, MIS reporting and financial governance for a growing organization.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on experience with GST, Income Tax, TDS, cash flow management, ERP implementation (SAP) and building a scalable finance function with a small team.

Qualifications

  • CA with 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts and finance.
  • Experience across managing group company accounts.
  • Experience driving process improvements and system implementations (SAP/ERP).
  • Experience managing multi-entity or multi-tax compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end financial operations, ensure compliance.
  • Manage tax compliance including GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings.
  • Deliver MIS reports, cash flow analysis, and liquidity planning.
  • Oversee accounts finalization, reconciliation, and audits.
  • Ensure Companies Act 2013 compliance and coordinate with Company Secretary.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
  • Lead ERP implementation and process automation (SAP).
  • Manage working capital optimization and fund utilization.
  • Establish SOPs to improve efficiency.
  • Mentor and manage a small accounts/finance team.

Hi All,

We are looking for an experienced CA to lead end-to-end financial operations from statutory compliance and taxation to MIS reporting and financial governance for a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, deep regulatory knowledge, and the ability to align financial planning with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to statutory regulations
  • Manage tax compliance including GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings within statutory timelines
  • Deliver MIS reports, cash flow analysis, and fund/liquidity planning to support management decision-making
  • Oversee accounts finalization, reconciliation, and audit readiness (internal and external audits)
  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, coordinating with Company Secretary for statutory filings
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks
  • Lead or support ERP implementation and process automation initiatives (e.g., SAP)
  • Manage working capital optimization and fund utilization strategies
  • Establish and refine SOPs to improve process efficiency and consistency
  • Mentor and manage a small accounts/finance team
