Job summary

Gudah Consultants is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts to join our growing Advisory/Consulting practice. The role involves hands-on accounting, reporting, MIS, and client-facing delivery.

You will manage end-to-end accounting for clients, coordinate with internal teams, perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings, and contribute to financial analysis and dashboards, while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
• 4+ years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, MIS, reconciliations.
• Experience in month-end/year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 4+ years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, MIS, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and management reporting.

This opportunity is with a growing Advisory/Consulting firm, where the role will involve working closely with clients and handling a broad range of finance and accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and finance activities for clients.
• Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account and Cash Flow Statements.
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, management reports and financial dashboards.
• Perform bank, ledger, inter-company and other account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance, variances and key business drivers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams for timely completion of finance and accounting deliverables.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in accounting and reporting processes.
• Assist clients with financial analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.
• Minimum 4+ years of post-qualification experience – Mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in month-end/year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Good understanding of reconciliations, accounting processes and compliance.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Good communication and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client assignments.

Preferred

• Prior experience in a Consulting / Advisory / CA firm is preferred.
• Experience working with multiple clients or managing outsourced finance and accounting assignments will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in accounting process improvement, MIS automation or ERP implementation will be preferred.

• This is a Finance & Accounts / Advisory role, not a Statutory Audit-focused position.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a small and growing Advisory/Consulting firm with a hands-on role.
