Job summary

Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is seeking a field sales professional with 3–6 years of experience in general insurance to recruit and guide a productive network of agents. The role emphasizes cross-selling, geling a strong pipeline, and maintaining IRDA licensing and commission compliance.

You will manage daily producer activities, coach agents on products and processes, and work toward achievement of budgeted targets while ensuring quality policy applications and timely service

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in general insurance preferred.
• Experience in recruitment and agent management.
• Knowledge of IRDA licensing and commission processes.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the overall budget for the fiscal.
• Multi-line budget achievement.
• Service excellence: issue policies within 7 days, refunds within 10 days, quotes within 48 hours.
• Monitor and ensure timely claim settlements as per agreed TAT.
• Recruit and appoint agents for Gen Ins business.
• Train agents on products, processes and USP of the company.

3. Maintaining Hygiene - Cheque Bounce & Receivables
4. Retention
5. Recruitment
6. Activation
7. Manage the daily activity of producers to ensure strong pipeline.

9. Make individual agents grow Year On Year
10. Ensuring IRDA compliance regarding licensing & commission payments to agents

Measure 1: Issuance of policies within 7 days

Measure 2: Refunds within 10 days Measure 3: Quotes 48 hours within branch authority

Goal 2: Ensuring & monitoring claim settlements with agreed TAT

Measure 1: Within 7 days of receipt of all documentation

Experience

Total 3-6 years of experience

Preferably general insurance industry. This will vary with size and volume of office.

Education

Graduation , Any Professional degree

Insurance certification -Associate level ( Desirable)

Requirements:
