Job summary

Akasa Air invites applications for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician responsible for authorized aircraft work in line maintenance. The role requires adherence to airworthiness standards and company procedures.

You will ensure proper maintenance documentation, report defects or incidents to the Shift In-Charge/AME, and perform tasks as defined by the Line Maintenance Manual. On-site duty at Bengaluru station with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Performs and is responsible for all work carried out and certified by him/her on the aircraft under the scope of his authorization privilege
  • Must ensure that all statutory regulations regarding airworthiness of the aircraft and company requirements are met
  • Ensures that he/she is aware of all company operating procedures and fully understand all quality and technical reporting systems
  • Ensure all maintenance and defect rectification, in the line maintenance, including sub-contracted maintenance, are carried out in accordance with the standards
  • To ensure and monitor that necessary maintenance documentation are raised, controlled, and cleared in accordance with approved procedures, prior to releasing aircraft to service
  • Report occurrence / incident / significant defect / any un-airworthy condition in line environment, involving aircraft / maintenance personnel to Shift In-Charge/AME
  • Ensure knowledge of processes defined in Line Maintenance Manual relevant to current position and compliance of same
  • Shall discharge the functions of technician as per station requirement
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superiors

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned by superiors.
