Job summary

Air India is seeking a skilled professional to support the maintenance of airframe systems, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and oversee repairs and upgrades in line with manufacturer guidelines and aviation regulations. The role involves ensuring system health, safety, and reliability while providing technical support to flight crews and maintenance teams. It also invites process improvements and may include additional responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance team for maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting of airframe systems
• Possess in-depth knowledge of airframe systems, structures, and related components
• Conduct review of technical inspections and checks on airframe systems to identify and address issues
• Oversee repairs, modifications, and upgrades to airframe systems, following manufacturer guidelines and aviation regulations
• Monitor the performance and health of airframe systems to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability
• Adhere to safety protocols and aviation regulations to ensure safe and compliant airframe operations
• Provide technical support and expertise to flight crews, maintenance personnel, and other relevant departments
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in airframe systems maintenance
• Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
