Job summary

Akasa Air in Bengaluru is recruiting Certifying Mechanic-A for its Maintenance & Engineering department. The role covers certification of aircraft work and ensuring airworthiness in line with regulations.

Qualifications

• Performs and is responsible for all work carried out and certified by him/her on the aircraft under the scope of his authorization privilege.
• Must ensure that all statutory regulations regarding airworthiness of the aircraft and company requirements are met.
• Ensures that he/she is aware of all company operating procedures and fully understands all quality and technical reporting systems.
• Ensure all maintenance and defect rectification, in the line maintenance, including sub-contracted maintenance, are carried out in accordance with the standards.
• To ensure and monitor that necessary maintenance documentation are raised, controlled, and cleared in accordance with approved procedures, prior to releasing aircraft to service.
• Report occurrence / incident / significant defect / any un-airworthy condition in line environment, involving aircraft / maintenance personnel to Shift In-Charge/AME.
• Ensure knowledge of processes defined in Line Maintenance Manual relevant to current position and compliance of same.
• Shall discharge the functions of technician as per station requirement.
• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Superiors.
