Job summary

AimBig Employment Pty Ltd is seeking a strategic leader to head a capital markets technology platform, partnering with the founder and board to drive strategic, tech, and commercial change. The role focuses on auditing systems, scaling operations, expanding national markets, and building pivotal partnerships with brokerages, banks, and FinTechs.

You will shape governance, cybersecurity, and high-performance engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in Capital Markets Technology, Trading Platforms, or related domain.
• Proven track record managing organizational transformations, scaling and expansion.
• Direct knowledge of OMS/RMS platforms and trade lifecycle.
• Experience with exchange connectivity and low-latency trading systems.
• Experience with API ecosystems and scalable platform architecture.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management at board level.

Responsibilities

• Organizational Audit: conduct a comprehensive review of existing systems, people, and processes to identify bottlenecks.
• Revenue Impact: execute a growth roadmap focused on market expansion and profitability.
• Partnership Development: build and manage relationships with brokerages, banks, and FinTech entities.
• Expansion (National): accelerated cross-border and domestic market entry leveraging institutional FinTech and banking alliances.
• People and Process Optimization: realign team structures and automated workflows to support partnership growth.

Strategic & Business Leadership

• Organizational Audit: Conduct a comprehensive review of existing systems, people, and processes to identify bottlenecks.
• Revenue Impact: Execute a growth roadmap focused on market expansion and profitability.
• Partnership Development: Build and manage relationships with brokerages, banks, and FinTech entities.
• Expansion (National): Accelerated cross-border and domestic market entry by leveraging institutional FinTech and banking alliances to capture high-margin revenue streams.
• People and Process Optimization: Realign team structures and automated workflows to eliminate audited operational bottlenecks and seamlessly support institutional partnership growth.

Regulatory & Industry Engagement

• Compliance: Manage institutional relationships with SEBI, NSE, and BSE.
• Standards: Enforce governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance protocols.

Organization Building

• Talent Alignment: Restructure mandates and teams to foster a high-performance engineering culture.
• Recruitment: Identify and hire leadership and technical talent required for the modernization phase.

Technology & Process Optimization

• Operational Efficiency: Optimize product development lifecycles to ensure performance at scale.
• System Reliability: Maintain high availability and sub-millisecond latency for all trading platforms.

The Successful Applicant

Experience

• 20+ years in Capital Markets Technology, Trading Platforms, or related domain
• Documented experience in managing organizational transformations, scaling and expansion.

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Direct knowledge of OMS/RMS platforms and the trade lifecycle.
• Understanding of exchange connectivity and low-latency trading systems.
• Experience with API ecosystems and scalable platform architecture.

Education

• Required: B.Tech / B.E. from a premier institution.
• Preferred: MBA/MS from a Tier-1 institution.
