Job summary

JSW Cement Limited is seeking a CCR Operator to manage plant sections from the central control room and optimize process parameters for stable operations. You will coordinate with field staff to ensure smooth plant functioning and maintain logs and production records for accountability.

The role requires monitoring of raw mill parameters, timely reporting, and solving issues under Shift In-Charge guidance to sustain efficient cement production.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Cement Technology, B.Sc. Chemistry and M.Sc. Chemistry are preferred.
• ,Diploma and chemistry degrees are required to operate cement processes.
• Preference given to candidates from Karnataka/Andhra Pradesh.

Responsibilities

• Operate different plant sections from the central control room.
• Record and monitor process parameters and plant logs.
• Coordinate with field personnel from CCR for smooth operation.
• Identify abnormalities and inform appropriate teams for corrective actions.
• Prepare daily production reports and monitor quality parameters for the raw mill.
• Coordinate with maintenance departments for related jobs and ensure efficient plant operation.

Job description

Role & responsibilities:

• The CCR Operator is responsible for the operation of different plant sections from the central control room.
• Plant operation and optimizing the process parameters.
• Co-ordination with field people from CCR for smooth operation of the plant.
• Plant operation and optimizing the process parameters

• Measurement of various process parameters along with Shift In-charge
• Recording of process parameters and plant log for the respective section
• Inspection of specific parameters on regular basis
• Perform any extra duties assigned by the Shift In-Charge.

.Production & Quality cement (Supervise Cement Mills operation for smooth optimum process operating conditions to achieve the targeted Production & Quality

1.Check operation parameters of all equipment's in the beginning of the shift.

2.Identify abnormalities if any Inform PF process and site attendants for corrective actions 3.Continuously monitor process parameters of raw mill and Register operational parameters of raw mill in log book as per the specified timelines with remarks if any

4. Check quality parameters for operation of raw mill.

6. Inform PF/ SH for any major abnormality / breakdown

7. Perform Corrective action as per instructions of SH (Process) / HOD (process)

8. Coordinate with all service departments & communicate plan problems if any for corrective actions.

9.Record shift wise production and quality of raw mill and Inform SH / HOD (Process) for production at the end of the shift 8)

Preparing daily production report and filled up in SAP.

2.CostOptimizationand Control (Identify and analyze various process inputs and parameters like power etc., for cost reduction and ensure cost effective plant operation.)

1.Sp.Power consumption To avoid Idle running of the circuit,

3.Reducing breakdown by early detection of abnormalities

4. Daily monitoring of trends.

5. Take corrective action to maintain the consumption. Coordinate with Electrical / Instr./Mech. maintenance departments for related jobs.

6. Ensure running of power saving equipment's.

3.Continuous improvement- Assist the SH for studying areas of improvement, implementation of improvement actions for optimization of process.

1. Increasing output rate

2.Reduction in breakdown, Process trend analysis, Field visit and observation, Reducing abnormalities.

3. Identification of source of leakage and ensure corrective action.

Preferred candidate profile:

Expertise in Roller Press, VRM and HAG ( Hot Air Generator ).

Diploma in Cement Technology , B.Sc. Chem & M.Sc. Chem

Candidate from South ( Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh ) will be given the Preference.
