Responsibilities

• Prepare the Cath Lab before each procedure, ensuring equipment and instruments are functional and sterile.
• Assist cardiologists during procedures like coronary angiography, angioplasty, stenting, pacemaker/ICD/CRT implantations.
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring systems during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist in emergency situations (CPR, defibrillation).
• Handle and manage radiation protection equipment as per guidelines.
• Maintain Cath Lab consumables (catheters, wires, balloons, stents, syringes, injectors).
• Ensure proper documentation of patient data, procedure details, and reports.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, biomedical engineers, and anaesthetists for smooth functioning.
• Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols strictly.
• Participate in audits, training, and continuing education programs.
• Collect patient feedback and assist in improving patient experience.
