Job summary

Ideacraft Eventures in India is seeking a proactive procurement and sourcing specialist to identify and onboard new brands, distributors and suppliers across diverse product categories.

You will source products from electronics to premium gifting, build strong vendor relationships, negotiate terms, manage catalogues and MIS reports, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Operations to ensure timely procurement and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new brands, distributors and suppliers for IdeaCraft's product categories.
• Source products across categories such as electronics, lifestyle, fashion, travel, home & kitchen, wellness, stationery, premium gifting and promotional merchandise.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brands and authorized distributors.
• Negotiate best pricing, margins, MOQ, credit terms, payment terms and delivery timelines.
• Develop a strong database of brands and vendors for regular procurement requirements.
• Understand client requirements and identify suitable products/brands accordingly.
• Collect and compare quotations from multiple brands/vendors to achieve competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with brands/vendors for product availability, samples, catalogues, specifications and product images.
• Work with the Sales/Marketing team to support client proposals, product selections and customized gifting requirements.
• Coordinate with the Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Track purchase orders, lead times, stock availability and pending deliveries.
• Maintain updated brand/product catalogues, pricing sheets and vendor databases.
• Analyse product costing, selling prices and margins to support profitable business decisions.
• Conduct regular market and competitor research to identify new products, brands and gifting trends.
• Explore exclusive deals, bulk purchase opportunities and special commercial arrangements with brands.
• Resolve procurement-related issues with vendors and ensure smooth order execution.
• Prepare regular procurement and category performance MIS reports
