Are you a skilled programmer or instructor with a passion for content creation and instructional design? As a Catalog Content Contributor – Programming & Software Development, you will design and develop engaging, outcome-focused learning experiences for global learners. You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts, designers, and editors to translate complex technical concepts into clear, learner-centered content across multiple formats—from video courses and walkthroughs to assessments and job aids. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, instructional creativity, and storytelling skills to create content that resonates with diverse learner needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design impactful learning experiences using instructional design best practices.
• Script and author engaging digital learning content: on-demand videos, interactive lessons, and assessments.
• Collaborate with designers, editors, and SMEs to deliver high-quality, accessible learning solutions.
• Apply Generative AI tools to support ideation, scripting, and personalization of content.
• Ensure consistency in instructional quality, tone, and structure across deliverables.

Skills Required

• Strong scripting, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to simplify and explain complex programming concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in at least one web framework (e.g., ASP.NET, Django, React).
• Experience with programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with developer tools (Git, GitHub, command line).
• Creativity, storytelling ability, and an understanding of diverse learning styles.

Preferred/Additional Skills

• Experience with Generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for content creation.
