Job summary

EduStage, the education and career development vertical of LifeStage Management Services, Gurugram, invites applications for a Career & Admissions Counsellor. You will guide students through psychometric assessments, career insights, and university admissions in India and overseas.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, excellent English and Hindi communication, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in career counselling, psychometric assessment-led guidance, university admissions or overseas education consulting.
• Familiarity with student aptitude/interest assessments, career guidance and Indian/international university admissions.
• Excellent English and Hindi communication, persuasion and conversion skills.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and genuinely committed to student success.

Responsibilities

• Convert qualified enquiries into paid assessments and counselling programmes; manage follow-ups, school/referral partnerships and enrolment targets.
• Introduce age-appropriate psychometric assessments exploring students’ interests, aptitudes, motivations and strengths; coordinate assessment and report delivery.
• Discuss assessment reports with students and parents, helping them interpret findings and explore suitable career pathways.
• Support personalised career planning, student mentoring, course and university selection, applications and admissions in India and overseas.
• Stay current on admission cycles, eligibility, scholarships and international study destinations; build trusted parent relationships.

What you will do

• Convert qualified enquiries into paid assessments and counselling programmes; manage follow-ups, school/referral partnerships and enrolment targets.
• Introduce age-appropriate psychometric assessments exploring students’ interests, aptitudes, motivations and strengths; coordinate assessment and report delivery.
• Discuss assessment reports with students and parents, helping them interpret findings and explore suitable career pathways without treating results as fixed labels.
• Support personalised career planning, student mentoring, course and university selection, applications and admissions in India and overseas.
• Stay current on admission cycles, eligibility, scholarships and international study destinations; build trusted parent relationships.

Who we are looking for

• 3–6 years in career counselling, psychometric assessment-led guidance, university admissions or overseas education consulting.

• The role requires flexibility to accommodate students’ and parents’ schedules, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Working hours will be planned accordingly, with compensatory time off as per company policy.
