Job summary

JAI Vakeel Foundation Research Centre seeks a caretaker to support daily school operations and assist artisans and teachers. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and orderly spaces across classrooms, cupboards, and common areas.

You will also assist in bus transport safety, exhibitions, and adhere to all safety guidelines as directed by management. Hindi translation duties are part of the role as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Follow the planned daily work schedule and complete assigned duties on time.
• Ensure that the assigned work areas, cupboards, and surrounding spaces are neat, clean, and well maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the assigned areas.
• Perform bus duty as assigned and ensure the safety and well-being of the Artisans during bus transportation.
• Perform exhibition duty as and when assigned.
• Immediately report any untoward incident, accident, or safety concern to the Management/Reporting Manager.
• Assist in taking care of Artisans in the classroom, on the ground, and during toilet-related activities, as required.
• Assist the classroom teacher with classroom activities and support Artisans in their daily activities.
• Take care of the responsibilities of the Caretaker during their absence, as assigned.
• Perform cleaning duties and ensure that the assigned areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
• Follow all school rules, safety guidelines, and instructions given by the Management/Reporting Manager.
• Carry out any other duties assigned from time to time as per the requirements of the school.
