CanKids is seeking a dedicated Supervisor – HAH in Tamil Nadu to oversee the Home Away from Home facility. You will coordinate daily activities, admissions, discharges, and ensure safety and cleanliness for families supported during treatment.
The role requires strong MS Office skills, fluent Hindi, and a collaborative mindset to work with hospitals and staff. The position involves 7-day schedules and on-site presence to support families in care pathways.

Catering to childhood cancer patients from primarily underprivileged families, CanKids is present in 141 hospitals across India. Through our signature programYANA (You Are Not Alone)– CanKids provides medical, drugs & diagnostics support, accommodation through Home Away from Homes, , patient transport, blood support, nutrition & rations, education and counselling support.
In order to increaseAccess2Care, CanKids has MOUs with 8 state governments asknowledgeandtechnical partnersfor childhood cancer and 16 State Projects Across India.
The supervisor – HAH will work 7 days a week and also to stay overnight. He/she can take leave on any weekdays as designed by the reporting head. He /she can take leave during the day time in emergency but cannot leave the premises at night without any alternative.
CanKids HAH is designed to be a lowcost model with minimum investment and running and maintenance costs. It integrates the issue and challenges of accommodation into treatment care and support systems at adjoining cancer centers. Families are provided with a kitchen kit, a room kit, and a school kit for the children. They are encouraged to prepare home-cooked meals for their children, but there are also celebration meals. Rations are provided raised through local donations. There are school activities in the HAH and multi-functional areas for entertainment, parent forums, celebrations and therapeutic activities.
Operational:
