Job summary

Accenture PLC in Bengaluru is seeking a Capital Projects Specialist to oversee planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects.

You will leverage Primavera P6 and MS Project, develop IMS, WBS, baselines, reports and dashboards to drive on-time delivery within utility standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in power utility EPC transmission & distribution generation projects.
• Strong exposure to project controls, risk assessment, and cost management.
• Hands on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel-based cost models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules IMS using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures WBS and define project activities logic links milestones and dependencies.
• Establish project baselines and manage schedule updates revisions and baselining processes.
• Monitor project progress critical path activities and milestone achievement.
• Conduct schedule health checks variance analysis delay analysis and recovery planning.
• Support resource loading forecasting and productivity monitoring.
• Prepare weekly monthly and executive project performance reports and dashboards.
• Develop and analyse S curves Earned Value Management EVM metrics CPI and SPI.
• Coordinate with project managers engineering teams contractors and stakeholders to obtain schedule inputs and progress updates.
• Identify schedule risks constraints and opportunities and recommend mitigation actions.
• Support governance reviews stage gate approvals and change control processes.
• Maintain project controls documentation planning procedures and planning standards.
