Job summary

Msys Softsol is seeking a Capital Markets Domain Architect in Gurugram to lead end-to-end architecture across capital markets capabilities, products, and platforms. The role requires deep domain knowledge and the ability to drive architecture with product owners, analysts and engineering teams.

You will define solution architecture, integration patterns and NFRs, assess existing apps, and guide engineering on modern, scalable designs. Strong Java/Spring Boot exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Capital Markets domain.
• Experience across multiple Capital Markets capabilities/products.
• Knowledge of pricing engines and deal quotation processes.
• Experience with front-to-back trade lifecycle and post-trade activities.
• Exposure to API and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and define end-to-end architecture for Capital Markets capabilities.
• Understand lifecycle from product definition to deal execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, engineering and stakeholders to define tech solutions.
• Challenge stakeholders on architecture, design and solution decisions.
• Provide architectural guidance and validate approaches with engineering teams.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, microservices and NFRs.
• Assess applications to decide build vs. enhance vs split capabilities.
• Understand interactions among customers, brokers, trading platforms and banking systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and deliver value.
• Stay updated on modern tech trends including AI-enabled tools.

Capital Markets Domain Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Capital Markets Domain Architect with strong

expertise across both Capital Markets business functions and technology architecture.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding and driving architecture across the

broader Capital Markets estate, with the ability to work across multiple products, platforms

and business capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define end-to-end architecture for Capital Markets business capabilities.
• Understand the complete lifecycle of Capital Markets products, from product definition and pricing to deal execution, post-trade and reporting.
• Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering teams and business stakeholders to define technology solutions.
• Challenge business and technology stakeholders on architecture, design and solution decisions.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams and validate technical approaches.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, Microservices architecture and NFRs.
• Assess existing applications and determine whether to build new services, enhance existing services or split/re-engineer existing capabilities.
• Understand the interaction between customers, brokers, trading platforms and banking systems across the transaction lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost and deliver business value.
• Stay updated with modern technology trends, including AI and AI-enabled engineering tools.
