Job summary

Capgemini India is seeking a Manager (R2R) with a Chartered Accountant qualification and 4+ years of Record-to-Report experience to lead a small team in Bengaluru.

You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge under Ind AS and IFRS, with exposure to US GAAP preferred, and hands-on SAP and advanced Excel skills to drive accurate reporting and process improvements.

The role is based at Capgemini's Bengaluru campus with night shift flexibility to support US-based stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of R2R experience.
• Experience leading a small team (3-4 professionals) with mentoring capabilities.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under Ind AS and IFRS; US GAAP preferred.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience and proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 3-4 member R2R team, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Oversee financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP where applicable.
• Collaborate with US-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams to present results.
• Drive process improvements and implement controls to maintain reporting accuracy.
• Coach and develop team members to foster high performance.
• Understand contract setup and management within financial processes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manager (R2R)

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of Record-to-Report (R2R) experience.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of 3-4 professionals, with strong people management and mentoring capabilities.
• Strong technical expertise in Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting under Ind AS and IFRS. Exposure to US GAAP will be an added advantage, though not mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and a strong understanding of accounting and reporting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis, reporting, and automation-related functionalities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and present to US-based stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, ensure reporting accuracy, and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance work environment.
• Understanding of legal contract set up and management
