Capgemini is inviting applications for a Record to Report (RTR) professional to attend the recruitment event on 31st October in Bangalore. The event targets experienced RTR professionals with a focus on accurate GL processing and close procedures.

Experience: 5-12 years in RTR, SAP is mandatory. Location: Capgemini, B4 building, Divyashree Tech Park SEZ (B4 building) Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560037.

Qualifications

• RTR experience with general ledger and closing tasks.
• Knowledge of statutory and management reporting.
• Proficiency with SAP and month-end / year-end processes.

Responsabilités

• Preparation and processing of complex GL Journals, Accruals, Provisions, allocations and other entries.
• Initiation of accounting entries from non-standard events per policies.
• Period End Close activities and timeliness.
• Monitor Close progress with Clients Finance Controllers.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and approvals.
• Prepare operational reports and data for reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare tax and statutory reporting.
• Execute, monitor and test financial controls per Client Controls Framework.
• Prepare Management Reports by Segment, Location, and Line of Business.
• Prepare Gross Margin Reporting.
• SAP is Mandatory.

Education: B.COM/ M.COM/BBA/MBA (Accountancy graduation is mandatory)

Shift Preference: Openness to work in all shifts.

*Night shift flexibility is mandatory for Finance Hiring.

Roles & Responsibilities-

RTR-

• Preparation (calculation) and processing of complex General Ledger Journals, Accruals, Provisions, allocations and other entries according to the schedule and agreed Client Desktop Procedures


• Initiation of accounting entries based on the non standard events and accounting rules not directly described in the Desktop Procedures, but resulting from other Policies and Accounting Manuals


• Preparation and execution of Period End Close related activities according to agreed time table and procedures


• Monitoring of Period End Close progress, interacting (and escalating if required) with Clients Finance Controllers or Process Owners to ensure timely closure and reporting


• Reconciliation of low/medium risk balance sheet accounts and review and approval of low risk reconciliations


• Preparation of operational reports from the area of expertise


• Initiation and monitoring of automated transactions, i.e. FX valuation or depreciation


• Preparation of data for financial, management and treasury reporting moving the data from source systems (ERP) to reporting and consolidation systems


• Review and finalization of financial, management and treasury reporting


• Preparation of tax and statutory reporting


• Execution, monitoring and testing of financial controls, as per Client Controls Framework


• Prepare Management Reports by Segment, Location, Line of Business


• Preparation of Gross Margin Reporting


• SAP is Mandatory
