Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Specialist - F&A - R2R to join its hybrid team in India. The role focuses on fixed assets, intercompany processes, and month-end closing with active involvement in reporting and controls.

You will support journal postings, reconciliations, and asset management within SAP/ERP environments. The ideal candidate holds finance/accounting degrees (Bachelors or Masters) and has strong knowledge of R2R, intercompany, and month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting knowledge in fixed assets and intercompany month-end closing.
• Experience with SAP/ERP and financial reporting.
• Understanding of journal postings, consolidations and controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/post journals at month end after analysis of prepaid and accruals.
• Prepare monthly closing calendar and discuss status with client daily.
• Execute internal controls and perform tasks with accuracy and timelines.
• Supervise intercompany reconciliation and follow-up to resolve variances.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and clearing.
• Identify open items and ensure closure before month end.
• Build payment proposal and review exceptions in SAP/ERP.
• Perform duplicate payment checks and quality checks on payment proposals.
• Fixed asset creation/disposal and depreciation runs; verify CCA/COPA and FICO integration.

Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee Record to Report! We seek an accounting graduate with prior accounting experience. You should have Strong Accounting Knowledge in Fixed Assets Intercompany and Month end closing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/post Journals at the end of the month after analysis of prepaid & accruals account etc.
• Prepare monthly closing calendar and discuss the status of activities with Client every day in close
• Execute internal controls and checks as part of the process and Performing task with accuracy and timelines
• Supervise Intercompany reconciliation status and do vital follow‑up with relevant Team to get variances resolved before month end
• Daily bank reconciliations and clearing.
• Identify open items and take it up with relevant Team to get closure before month end to ensure no open items after the closing
• Build payment proposal & review exceptions in SAP/ERP
• Perform duplicate payment check Perform quality checks on payment proposal and review critical and month end activities to ensure smooth close eg Currency Valuation & AP/AR reposting
• Fixed Asset creation/disposal & Depreciation Run CCA/COPA cycles run and FICO integration check
