Job summary

Supply Chain Resources Group is seeking a proactive CapEx PM INDIA Project Support with 5–10 years of experience to act as the key operational bridge across cross-functional teams, coordinating with OPMs, TPMs, equipment vendors, and CM partners.

You will manage KO forecasts, build lead times, and freight tracking to ensure production lines ramp on schedule, safeguarding New Product ramp schedules end-to-end from KO to final line bring-up at factory sites.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering or related manufacturing discipline.
• 5–10 years in high-volume consumer electronics/automotive manufacturing (EMS/OEM/ODM).
• Experience managing CapEx equipment lifecycle, logistics, and vendor readiness.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, export/import docs, and customs for capital machinery.
• Excellent negotiation and global supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• CFT & CM Alignment between OPMs, TPMs, Equipment suppliers, and CM teams to align equipment with program schedules.
• Forecasting KO forecasts, review lead times to meet build schedules.
• Global logistics & on-time delivery: ensure ETD/ETA alignment with build dates.
• CapEx tracking: monitor POs, milestone payments, and invoice reconciliation.
• On-site installation & asset audits at CM sites (Chennai / Greater Noida).
• Risk & contingency management to protect NPI schedules.
• On-site vendor OSS readiness coordination with CM facility teams and vendor leads.

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive CapEx PM INDIA Project Support with 5 ~ 10 years of experience.

In this role, you will act as the key operational bridge across cross-functional teams (CFT), collaborating closely with Operations Program Managers (OPMs), Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Equipment vendors, and Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners. You will leverage proven experience in managing critical vendor delivery milestone dates, specifically equipment Kick-Off (KO) forecasting, machine build lead times, and freight tracking (ETD/ETA) into CM facilities ensuring production lines ramp on schedules.

The primary mission is safeguarding New product ramp schedules by driving end-to-end equipment delivery forecasting tool kick-offs, tracking machine builds and factory buy-offs, and managing international freight logistics through to final on-dock delivery and line bring-up at factory sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• CFT & CM Alignment: Serve as the core bridge between OPMs, TPMs, Equipment suppliers, and CM manufacturing teams to align CapEx Equipment / Fixtures/ Testers requirements with program schedules.
• Forecasting & Vendor Readiness & Milestone Tracking: Partner closely with CM operations to generate and project equipment Kick-Off (KO) forecasts to vendors. Review vendor fabrication lead times, including long-lead subcomponents to meet the build schedules.
• Global Logistics & On-Time Delivery: Routinely review with vendors / CM on estimated Time of Departure (ETD) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) with CM partner leads to ensure equipment arrives strictly aligned with Project line build dates.
• CapEx Tracking & Budget Governance: Track purchase orders, production milestone payments, and invoice reconciliation against approved CapEx budgets for all machinery, test stations, and line fixtures.
• On-Site Installation & CaPex Asset Audits: Oversee equipment arrivals at CM sites (Chennai / Greater Noida), assist with site acceptance setups, and run routine asset tagging, tracking, and physical inventory audits.
• Risk & Contingency Management: Identify logistics, customs clearance, or manufacturing bottlenecks early; proactively develop contingency and recovery plans to protect NPI and mass-production build schedules.
• On-Site Vendor OSS Readiness Coordination: Partner with CM facility teams and vendor OSS leads to arrange factory floor clearances, site passes, safety inductions, and local logistics for overseas technical support staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: BE Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplines related to Manufacturing.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience within high-volume consumer Electronics / Automobile manufacturing environments (EMS, OEM, or ODM).
• Proven track record managing CapEx equipment lifecycle,Logistic Handling, vendor readiness.
• Solid grasp of international shipping terms (Incoterms), export/import documentation, and customs clearance procedures for capital machinery.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills with global and regional tooling suppliers.

Specific Requirements:

• Professional fluency in English; working knowledge of Hindi or Tamil is strongly preferred for effective floor-level communication with Vendor, CFT & CM Partners.
• Proficiency with project scheduling and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel advanced modeling, Google AI tools.
