Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to strengthen the automotive supply chain through long-term capacity planning, capacity mapping, and supplier collaboration. The role focuses on ensuring capacity creation, early part development, and mitigating short-term supply challenges, with emphasis on E&E products including infotainment, ADAS, ECU, and related components.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in automotive supply chain or product development.
• Experience in APQP, M&M requirements, MPDS process.
• Experience with Infotainment, Instruments Cluster, ECUs, ADAS and related E&E products.
• Exposure to injection moulding, SMT, assembly of E&E parts, software development.

Responsibilities

• Build a resilient supply chain for Automotive Division through long term capacity planning and mapping.
• Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP.
• Action planning for capacity shortfall mitigation for ongoing & new projects.
• Enabling capacity creation at supplier end with PD, SSU, CDMM, SCM, SQE & suppliers.
• Drive short term capacity planning & mitigate supply chain challenges.
• Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chain and capacity enhancement on current parts.
• Quality related supplies issues management (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections).
• Conduct PTR, PPAP, MSA, SPC at supplier place.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Build a resilient supply chain for the Automotive Division through Long term Capacity planning and mapping:

a. Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP

-Action Planning for Capacity Shortfall mitigation for ongoing & new projects

- Knowledge of automotive Electrical & Electronics products such as lamps, switches, sensors, wiring harness, infotainment, controllers, ECUs, audio system, ADAS etc.

-Exposure on several processes such as injection moulding, SMT, assembly of E&E parts, software development etc.

-Enabling capacity creation at supplier end to meet the requirements through partnering with PD, SSU, CDMM, SCM, SQE & suppliers

-Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till Capacity creation, SOP & Handover

b. SSU / SCM / SQE vulnerable supplier alternatives

c. New projects C/O parts capacity mapping (across Platforms cross commodities)

Drive Short term Capacity Planning & supply chain challenges mitigation:

a. Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chain

b. Capacity enhancement on current parts

c. Quality related supplies issues (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections with current suppliers)

d. Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP

Supply chain management understanding & exposure

Commercial acumen,

Capacity assessment techniques

Problem solving techniques.

Root cause analysis

Product development through APQP, M&M requirements, MPDS process.

Conducting PTR, PPAP, MSA, SPC at Supplier place
