Job summary

Thoucentric in Bangalore is seeking a Cloud/Platform Engineer to design, build, and deploy microservices-based web applications and cloud-native infrastructure. You will collaborate with the engineering team to implement scalable solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and multiple cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP). Strong Linux, Python, and API skills are essential for delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Cloud providers knowledge – Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Database knowledge: SQL, NoSQL, and Graph DB.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Working knowledge of APIs, caching, and messaging.
• Experience in working with Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and team with our engineering to identify and implement optimal infrastructure solution.
• Planning, designing, and developing microservice based web applications.
• Deploying applications, servers, virtual machines, databases, serverless components, and other infra services on cloud and on‑prem.
• Orchestrating and automating cloud-based platforms across the company.
• Building and designing web services in the cloud with geographically redundant setups.
• Implementing engineering decisions on on‑prem infrastructure using Linux & Windows servers.
• Working with Cloud Native deployments.
• Working with Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps tools to manage apps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Research and learn new frameworks/technologies to keep products competitive.
