Job summary

Thoucentric Technology Private Limited is seeking a data engineering professional to build data crawlers, design data warehouse models, and develop SQL-based processing scripts. You will work with Solution Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions for analytics and planning.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) processes.
• Strong SQL Server and MySQL expertise with SQL-based languages (SQL, MDX, T-SQL) and knowledge of DDL/DML, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with workflows in programming concepts.
• Experience working directly with customers and presenting ideas.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Applied Python programming.
• Experience working with JSON and XML data formats.
• Experience using APIs.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Build data crawlers to extract data from customers' data sources using available ETL platforms, and troubleshoot issues during loading and processing.
• Design and build data warehouse models in columnar databases.
• Develop data processing scripts using SQL and optimize complex SQL sequences.
• Design, build and deploy SSIS packages to validate, synthesize, transform customer data for analytics.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand customers' business requirements and implement them.
• Own the entire development and implementation workflow.
• Design and automate the data loading and insights generation process with checks; create and execute test plans and document issues.

• Workwith Solution Architects to understand customers' business requirementsand implementthem
• Performdata analysis for complex use cases using SQL document technicalspecification for
• thecognitive applications that we are creating for the customers
• Ownthe entire development and implementation workflow
• Participatein the technical design, data requirements gathering and makingrecommendations on best practices, in case of inaccurate or missing data
• Designand automate the data loading and insights generation process withintelligent checks and balances for sustained value delivery. Create andexecute test plans, document issues and track progress at resolvingissues.
  

Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

• Verystrong hands-on experience working in ETL (Extract/Transform/Load)processes
