IntraEdge, Inc. is seeking an experienced Calypso CATT Engineer with strong QA engineering expertise to test complex, multi-tier financial applications in Hyderabad.

You will design, execute, and maintain functional and automated tests across Calypso front-to-back workflows, supporting regression testing, and defect resolution. The role requires 5+ years in QA/testing, 3+ years Calypso experience, and hands-on CATT scripting.

We are looking for an experienced Calypso CATT Engineer with strong QA engineering expertise and hands‑on experience in testing complex, multi‑tiered financial applications. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of Calypso, OTC derivatives, trade lifecycle, and Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT), along with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

The role involves designing and executing functional and automated tests across Calypso front‑to‑back workflows, supporting regression testing, identifying defects, and working closely with development, business, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain functional and automated test cases for complex Calypso applications and multi‑tier systems.
• Plan and execute automated regression test cycles for project implementations and BAU releases using Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT).
• Develop, maintain, and execute CATT scripts covering end‑to‑end Calypso workflows.
• Validate Calypso functionality across trade booking, middle‑office and back‑office processing, payments, accounting, collateral management, regulatory reporting, and EOD batch processes.
• Apply appropriate QA methodologies, testing techniques, and automation practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform detailed analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and root‑cause investigation of application and test failures.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers to resolve defects and ensure successful delivery.
• Analyze test results and application data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations for quality improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, testing processes, and overall product quality.
• Maintain clear test documentation, defect reports, execution results, and project‑related QA artifacts.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA engineering/software testing, including testing complex multi‑tiered applications.
• 5+ years of experience in test design and execution, with strong understanding of testing methodologies and technologies.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Calypso experience across the front‑to‑back OTC trade lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives, particularly Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD), FX Options, and Commodities.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT).
• Strong experience planning and executing CATT‑based automated regression testing, including script development and maintenance.
• Good understanding of trade booking, Middle Office, Back Office, payments, accounting, collateral management, regulatory reporting, and EOD processing.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments and comfortable using standard UNIX utilities for testing and issue identification.
• Familiarity with at least one frontend framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of data mapping, data lineage, and data governance.
• Strong ownership and accountability with an outcome‑focused approach.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas for improvement in testing and application functionality.
• Experience mentoring or coordinating QA engineers or technical personnel is an advantage.
