Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Calypso specialist to join our capital markets team in Bengaluru. You will work on Calypso Collateral module enhancements for global clients, translating business needs into technical solutions.

You will analyze requirements, implement configurations, and collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure delivery meets client expectations. A strong background in Cash Management and back-office processes is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years total experience with 4–5 years in Calypso technology.
• Experience with Calypso v16 and v17.
• Knowledge of Cash Management and Inventory Management processes.
• Back-office processing, Swift reconciliation, and triparty statements.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes analytical, experimental, investigative work in support of Calypso product development.
• Captures client requirements to inform technology product development and informs solutions.
• Evaluates new Calypso developments to recommend enhancements to current systems.
• Supports customer communications regarding new and improved technology solutions.
• Collaborates with Senior BA and Development teams to implement required Calypso configurations.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes analytical, experimental, investigative, and other fact-finding work in support of technology product development
• Captures internal and external client technical requirements to inform technology product development. Identifies solutions and alternative paths.
• Evaluates new technology developments and evolving business requirements to recommend appropriate alternatives and / or enhancements to current systems
• Supports the preparation of communications to customers regarding new and improved technology solutions.
• Work closely with and support Senior business analyst on requirements analysis and identify areas where custom code is required to be implemented by the Development teams.
• Implement required Calypso configuration and performing development and testing of the solution.
• Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure that product requirements / functionality meet customer needs and assist in providing estimates for analysis and development.

Mandatory Skills

• 7+ years of total experience with 4-5 years of experience in Calypso technology
• Experience of latest Calypso versions (v16 and v17)
• Cash Management (Cash Sweeping, Interest, Fees) and Inventory Management (Client, Internal, External, MarginCall).
• Industry standard back office processing Cash and Security Settlement, Swift reconciliation, and triparty statement (Swift), messages (confirmation, advices), Operation (Task Station), Corporate Action, Accounting (General Ledger, P&L Accounting, etc.).
• Workflow and Exception Management
• Preferrable FX, Money Market, Fixed Income and Repo asset classes and their life cycle events.
• Knowledge on CWS Report would be preferable (In-Particular Cash Ladder)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Preferrable experience on CATT (Calypso automated testing tool).
• PL/SQL (Oracle) , Preferable (Read or Debug Java code)
• Collateral Management (GMRA, CSA and Triparty)
