Job summary

Alten in Chennai seeks a meshing engineer to work on automotive safety components using Hypermesh. You will perform 2D and 3D meshing (hexas, tetras) for sheet metal, plastics and solids, and contribute to engineering documentation and checksheets.

The role requires initiative, problem solving for critical issues, and the ability to model components and sub-assemblies in collaboration with other teams. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise in 2D and 3D meshing (hexas, tetras) - Sheet metal, plastics and solids.
• Mesh automotive components for safety attributes using Hypermesh.
• Ability to participate in documenting checksheets and presenting queries.
• Ability to conceptualize components and integrate sub-assemblies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and can-do attitude.
